on Tuesday, December 10th.  In anticipation of questions that may
bring, HP wants to confirm our commitment to LanManager.

HP will continue to make investments in providing LanManager based
solutions to its customers.  HP supports the top PC NOS's in the
industry and LanManager is one of them.  HP's strategy is to
partner with industry leaders to provide the best solutions to our
customers.

Hewlett Packard is committed to providing a LM/X 2.x product
by the end of 1992.  HP views the LanManager/X product as a
key component in the client/server offering.

Hewlett Packard will be providing an update to support standard
clients in the spring of 1992, with a full LM/X 2.x product by
the end of 1992.
